My Trim gauge does not read accurately ...... have to trim a hell of a lot before any movement on gauge.
When it had service at start of last year dealer advised that The Trim Position Switch needed adjusting ... when I picked boat up he hadn't done it .... at end-of season service ... reminded him, again not done ... he advised screw is rounded and needs to be drilled out.
(Probably why he didn't do it)
Bit annoying that he stated somebody rounded it ... he fitted drive from new and only one who does the servicing !
Looks like I'll have to do this .... anybody know what size/thread the fixing screw is ?
Hopefully I can drill it out (or use screw extractor) at least if I can find out what thread I can use tap to clean out hole.
