Trim problem?

Initially, from the trim gauge I was able to trim full up and full down (using the gauge as the guide).

Then later in the later, I noticed that the trim gauge can only go 3/4 up and down stopping at the 1/4 mark. Visually, it seems the outdrive can go full up and full down.

I don't get it. Is the gauge wrong?

Also, later my wife told me that she could go full up and down to only 1/4 using the gauge as the guide.

Out of the water, visually I can go full up and full down.

Either the gauge is acting weird, the trim is really screwed up somewhere, or I'm also visually impaired. :)

It would help to know what year, make, and model engine and outdrive you have.

Re: Trim problem?

I have a 2000 Crownline 21ft Cuddy Cabine with a 5.0 Volvo/Penta SX motor rated at 220HP.

Sender unit? Where is this located?

Also, the speed sensor is also broken. This is the black thing on the side of the out drive with a black tube. Where can I order on online?
