Trim problems

I have a 1986 Evinrude, 150 VRO V6 Mod# E150TLCDC<br />The trim won't work and I can't even move the motor up or down by hand. The boat set for about a year.I need to know how to move the motor up or down.

On the trim/tilt unit there is a small screw (by the mounting bracket) that you should turn counter clockwise about 1/2 turn. This will bypass the hydraulic system. You should be able to manually lift up and down...if your coming down be careful and keep clear! Don't forget to tighten when you find the problem!
