My 94 Mercruiser trim up button will lift the drive to the 20 3/4" limit set by the limit switch and then can be raised further using the trailer button or the stern switch. However, when the control is in neutral or slightly above the idle position, the trim up button will not raise the drive any further than the 20 3/4". It seems like it was working this way the first few times out. Also, my seloc manual says the trim up should raise the drive at lower speeds for shallow water. Is there an adustment in the control (Commander 3000) that allows the trim up to raise the drive beyond the limit switch setting at lower speeds. Thanks for any help, this boat is new to me.

Re: Trim question

If you raise it above Trim to the Trailer mode, You'll be Really Stressing the U-joints,+ Gimbal bearing.....<br />If the top of Trim isn't high enough, Find some Deeper water....
