My trim gauge is not working on my 96 Force 120HP motor. I was wondering where the trim sender was located on it. I also am not sure what it looks like. I have a factor and a clymer manual for it, but neither one has a good picture of it. Thanks for the help.

I checked where that white wire goes. It looks like it runs into a cylindrical shaped between the motor and the mounting bracket. It runs into there with several other wires.

Did you ever find where that trim sender on your Force 120 was? I want to install one as my boat has a trim gauge but don't know where its supposed to go if it even is installed. Any help would be appriciated.

Yes I think I found it. If you are facing the prop, it is on the right side of the motor and it kinda "sits" on top of the top anchor pin for the trim unit, the part that goes through the top of the trim ram. I never did replace it however.

Yes, found it on my 99 120 as well. Found the slot cut and the two mounting holes. Got a new trim sender for $17 on ebay including shipping! Mounted it, wired it in to the guage and works like a champ. Was the same sender as pictured above.
