Getting the bolts off was easy since the wires fell apart and I had access to the top bolt. Now that I've tried to put them back on I've run into trouble. The bottom bolt was easy to access and I've torqued it to 100 inch-lbs, but there's no way I can get to the top bolt. I've turned the top bolt as much as possible with a wrench but I'm guessing I can only get it to about 20 or 30 inch-lbs that way. Any ideas on what to do? If I buy a 1/4 inch drive flexible 7/16 inch socket will I be able to get a socket wrench on it? Even if so I don't think the torque reading would be correct. How important is the torque on that top bolt?

Ayuh,.... I did the Whole bellows job with a 1/4" drive set,...

No, the torque ain't Critical, it just snubs the rubber tight, 'round the wires...
Snug is Good, don't strip it out...

Never torqued those screws. Just used a 'calibrated elbow'... As Bond-o said, snug is good enough.

If you are worried about it loosen the top and tighten it last, sometimes you can get a little further this way.

Thanks. I think I got it in tight enough. The bottom is rotated to spec so I don't think it'll be issue.
