2005 Mercruiser 4.3l - recently had the gimbal bearing and bellows replaced. Got boat back from shop and the trim position guage, trim limiter, and speedometer are not working. Will trim down. Trims up only with the trailering position. I would assume it is not bad sensors since all three things stopped working after the shop had it. Taking it back to shop not an option right now. Is there a common ground wire I am missing? Anything else common to these three I can check.

Thanks in advance for the assistance.

gen ii and bravo drives have a speedometer pitot on the leading edge of the gearcase. there is a pitot tube connection at the forward portion of the gearcase that may have been left disconnected. tilt the drive all the way up and check

its possible the trim senders were re installed without checking for adjustment, you can find the info for adjusting them in the oem manual, an aftermarket manual, or perhaps online. not sure if there is a sticky on the forum page here for that

Look at the rear of the motor and by the trim pump. The trim wires may have been disconnected. They are black with bullet connectors.

Thanks dubs and alldodge (FYI - I am all Dodges in my house as well...)

I found two black wires with bullet connectors that were not connected. Connected them and eagerly trimmed the lower unit down. Still nothing.

Keep looking there are 2 more. All 4 come from the top of the transom assembly
