Hello!

Maybe you can help me with my following problem. I used the search button and got some info regarding my issue. To specify my problem I need more info.

My configuration:

Boat: Bavaria 37sport (new 2008)
Engines: Volvo Penta 5.7 GXi-J (3869407)
Drive: SX-A / DPS-A 1.95 (3883769 & 3883609)
Twin engine
EVC System

My Problem:

First 2 years everything running fine. Now the following, small, problem occurs:
On the SB-side I got erratic readings during trimming up/down my drive. The separate digital trime-gauge changes between -7 and +56 and then +4 and so on ... but keeps more or less a constant value on the display if I stop the trim motion.
To compare the drive position I always trim both drives (SB & BB) at the same time up.
I start at -7 (full down) and go up to +3.
BB-gauge shows smooth digital readings counting up from -7 to +3 ... ok.!
SB-gauge starts also at -7 but shows erratic readings at the display wit 56, -4, +11 and so on until I stop. But also in the stop position it's not +3 as expected like the BB side. Indeed the display in most instances stop showing erratic readings and also the displayed value is not +3.

Tests I have allready done:
All other gauges in the CAN Bus System works fine (oil, temp, ...)
The same wrong readings of the SB-side are also visible in the SB-side EVC main gauge.
On the BB-side everything works fine.

Now there are several possibilities searching the failure, but first I want to try to get better, direct information from your qualified side first.

Someone told me that the sensor has to be adjusted with the EVC system via software ...

Tx for your help,
