trim stops at 3/4 up when running but full range when stopped

1997 intruder 175 running great but yestreday trim would not go past 3/4 up when underway but full range of travel when not moving ? any ideas ?

The trim is operational/functional for ONLY 15 degrees. It is not designed to travel any further upward than that when underway. After that 15 degree movement, the tilt process takes over and that will not overcome the propellers thrust that is powering the engine in the opposite direction.

thanks joe,i guess the water was slick and first time there where no porpoising even at full speed not a lot of time driving the boat yet !
