VERY ignorant question here, but is there any reason you can't replace the trim switch (up/down) with a three post mom. on/off/mom. on switch?

Re: Trim switch question

It's a 3 wire. I didn't think there would be any problem using a toggle switch, but I wasn't sure. My switch is working, but where it was mounted in the throttle handle is broken. One of the wires came loose the other day and I soldered it back with no issues. I figure I would just dash mount a new switch and be done with it.
