I have a 1988 Scarab 454/Bravo1...very happy runs great....Heres the thing I have trim built in on the left side of steering wheel that is also tilt wheel...On the Dash is what I think is some kind of autotrim feature with a row of 5 switches and numbers below it,, 2 numbers per switch with indcator lights above for each switch
and a mess of wires and boxes under dash for this.....
what is this called and how dose work???????

And they or nothing works....and getting rid of all that pertains to this feature....

I want to know if I can bypass this and hard wire it and keep wheel switch to trim pump???????
or move switch to the Throttle control lever????
Iam rewiring the whole boat and adding new gages
and trim sensors on drive..........

Thank You Mark,,, Lake Havasu AZ

Re: Trim switch...

sounds like trim tab switches these are seperate than drive trim and are very important for that style of boat.
