Trim Switch

I am having problem with my trim switch. I was able to lower and raise my Alpha 1 with the engine off, but now I can only lower the unit and raise it by using the trailer switch. For some reason it will not raise when pushing the up trim on the switch. This has just occured yesterday. The unit which contains the trim switch is the Quicksilver 3000 on a 1994 Starcraft 2010ss. Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks

I have a 3000 and no manual. I know that there is an allen head screw on the large diameter of the control handle. You have to go to full throttle to see it....will be on the aft side. That's supposed to allow the handle to be removed. Once removed, there are 2 phillips screws on the inside of the vertical part which should allow you access to the rear of the trim switch.<br /><br />Trick is getting the handle to come off.
