Hello guys, I have an 86' 85 hp with manual trim. I found a trim system on craigslist for $200 but it came off of a 95' or 96' 90 hp. Do you think it will fit?

Re: Trim system

up through '92 is a sure bet. from 1992 through 1995 you have to make sure that the base of pump is higher than the bottom of trim housing. If it is then the trim will fit your engine. If the base of pump is below the trim housing then it will not fit your engine. There is no way to know on a '92-'94 except to look. 95 and later used an entirely different mounting bracket and it would take a lot of work to fabricate adapters. It isn't as good a system anyway. The Chrysler Force 3ram system gives you better control and lasts longer before breaking.
