Trim Tab Brackets

Trim tab bracket was installed with top bracket pointing down because it would only work that way with decals facing out and for wiring to move through it freely without pinching them- out on the water it works fine like this , should it be redone to point the bracket upward? Or is this just something to not worry about , I would like it to look correct. Any opinions welcomed, thanks tab.jpg

If it works fine and the wiring isn't pinched, it's not a critical safety issue. However, the top bracket is designed to point up for maximum support and a correct installation. For peace of mind and to ensure long-term reliability, it's best to redo it properly.

The force on the brackets is low, and at the angle, primarily the bolts are in shear. No need to drill extra holes.
