Trim Tilt Hoses

1977 VIP 77 85hp, when I bought the boat the t\t was and is laying in the back of the boat.<br />There where no hoses on it, I think i can have them made cheaply through a friend, can anyone tell me where the hoses go.<br />I am going to try and post some pics.<br />OK I give up can anyone tell me how to post pics?<br />Thanks in advance.

The trim hoses are 2 differant sizes and each has a fitting on the end with a funny bend in it to get aroud the pivit point on the cyls. you can ck pictures out in the sierra part list here on iboats. The hoses run from the cyls. thru a hull fitting to the pump thats mounted in the boat

I just took mine out. I took off my 1979 140hp Merc, filled the holes in the transom, installed the mid section from a 1985 90hp Merc and installed my 140 powerhead on top of it. So I have a set of hoses if you want, send me an e-mail.<br /><br />Any idea of what I can put over the hole that the hoses used to come through???<br /><br />Craig

79merc, we use 1/8" aluminum, make a plate to cover the hole with a screw in each corner and some sealant
