Trim tilt replacement

Hi all

Need to replace the trim tilt assembly on my 90 HP Mercury, has anyone tried or heard anything about this option???

Out of couriosity, what year is your engine? The reason I ask is that the late-model 90 and 115's seem to have trim motors which are prone to corrosion. Mine is corroded nearly beyond recognition but still works like a champ. Eventually though, it's going to stop and I'm going to be in your shoes. I would like to identify the source of water intrusion so the next $500 trim motor lasts the life of the engine. BTW, mine is a 2004 115efi.

Purchased a rebuilt PTT unit this past Spring for my 1993 90 HP mariner. Cost $525, well under a new unit cost. Received it in 5 days. Looked brand new. Installed it before it went into the water and it has been working fine all season. Purchased from Seiler Marine but others had same unit.

I have a 1975 65HP Mercury that I want to add power tilt and trim to. Is this possible with one of these kits?
