Trim/Tilt Sending Unit>???

I am in need of a sending unit for the trim/tilt gauge on a 1978 115HP Johnson. I went to the local dealer,expecting to pay about $30 bucks for what amounts to a potentiometer encased in thermoplastic (way over priced at $30 in my opinion).>>>I almost fell over when the counterman said he would have to order it and it would cost $145.00 . Am I missing something here??? Whats up with that???? <br />Anybody know where I can get one for a more reasonable amount???<br /><br />THANKS <br />Boilermaker
