This is my problem, I have twin 97 Yamaha 200 engines. This summer both trims went out?? When I tilt them up they stay up, like they should. Under power they both tuck under and under power is faster 10 mpg.. Trim motors work fine. I guess because both quit at the same time, I guess air in the trim system?? When I bleed it should the filler cap be open? When I open the filler cap when it is down fluid spit out. I have been trimming it up, check fluid level, close filler cap and manually open release valve, let engine tilt down, tighten release valve trim it up and do it 5 or 6 times. Take the boat out and trim will stay up under power or trim under power. This is why I am wondering if I am bleeding it right. Weird both mechanically broke at same time?? All suggestions will be appreciated except for some not so nice ones. Live in Fl, so freezing is not a problem, heat I guess could be. I leave engines tilted up, might be what would do both in at the same time?. Most people it seems do not leave engines tilted up around me. My boat lives on a boat lift, runs in salt water. Thanks Mike
