I just received a 1998 19.5' renken cuddy from my father in law with an omc v6 i/o. when I am out of the water the trim works fine, but once I get into the water it does not work. after about a half an hour out of the water it works again. Whats the problem?<br /><br />Thanks,

may not have enough fluid.<br />Chek the fluid level first, if its fine check the wire connections and he trim switch.

Does it make a noise like a whinnig when it dont work, or does it just do nothing ?
