Cheapest outlet for a pump for 1998 125hp force. Trim won't stay up and only works after tapping the pump with a wrench several times.

Usually the tapping and then it works means you need new brushes in the motor.

I've been told actually that it is the gears/brushes that sit underneath the pump. Can these be re worked or replaced easily?
