Tritoon Jackplate

What would be the advantage of having a jackplate mounted on the center tube of a 24' tritoon with 150?

I would say none, a toon is different than other boats in that they never actually plane, they just go faster and I really don't see any advantage to getting the motor up out of the water more and it may cause more problrms than it would solve.

I don't think you would see anything with a 150 but larger motors and strakes benefit from them.
