Re: Trojan 36' Tricabin...info appreciated!!!
I should have posted as 'two babes and a boat'

The three girls are getting all kinds of help! My wife's a cutie...does that help?

Mainly need to know what people think of Trojan tricabins from the early 1970s to the mid 80s. We may decide to go with a sailboat, but the Trojans we have been on seem to 'fit' just right as far as having the room we'll need to live aboard. Any faults inherent in them we should know about? Any pros or cons to getting the years with the engines aft rather than midship? Anyone know of any for sale at a good 'starter-boat' price?

Also, looking for 'where' to move to. May sound dumb to some, but if you've ever lived in Midwestern winters you'll know that just getting OUT is the all-important thing. Time to live where the weather isn't running your life but still need to work. Need a marina that will take liveaboards for a reasonable fee, dogs OK, and someplace where we can find modest jobs nearby. The biggest thing we have going for us is the desire...the details can all be worked out as we go along. Have been thinking of the gulf coast but open to any ideas/thoughts...like I said, the house has finally sold and we are ready to pack up and in the next month head south.

Thanks again...

Rj and Jessic***
