trolling batteries

I just bought a 1987 Skeeter bass boat and it's missing the trolling batteries and trolling motor, how do I know if it is set up for 12v or 24v and how do I know if the trolling motor is 12v or 24v? this boat seems untouched and very stock with no modifications.

Look at the plug, how many prongs are on it?

Is there an "empty space" already set up for TM battery(s)? Is that space sized for one battery or two?
