TRolling motor pointer

I searched but came up empty. Anyone know how to adjust the pointer on top of a bowmount trolling motor? I have a Minn Kota Maxxum 75#. It's a few years old. When the trolling motor is in say a 12:00 position the pointer is pointing at 2:00.

I have no manual either.

i don't know if it is the correct way or if it will work for your motor but i just put my palm on the pointer and lined it up
