Trolling motor power wire tinned or not.

I was about to run power wires for a new trolling motor on my nautic star. The route is through conduit and protected from salt water. Is timned wire still a must? Its hard to get a handle on.

Tinned is always better, however if your wire is all protected like you say go for it. problem is that you can't see inside the wire and won't know its corroded until it is. Tin the ends yourself with a soldering iron and use shrink tube with the goo inside on all the connectors which is a good idea anyway.

Tinned, from these guys "genuinedealz" Same price as non-tinned you can buy locally, and they have free 2-3 day shipping.

(Kind of nuts not to buy from these guys.)

Just use stranded wire for sure.
