trolling motor

I have a 1992 ex120 34lb. thrust trolling motor by Nephune Technology. They seam to be out of business. Where do I find help for this motor?<br />It sat idle several years. Now it won't run until the prop is turned on. Can this be repaired without a lot of expense? Switch and electronic module seem to work fine. Propeller shift seems to drag at certain spot when turned. Thanks

Hi Mary Ann<br /><br />If you have a question about trolling motors, these guys will know for sure. Just send them an E-mail. Sounds as though the insides of the motor could have some rust in there, causing the flat spots in running and stiff feeling when you turn the prop. Probably just needs to be disassembled and cleaned up real good.<br /><br /> web page

Mary Ann<br />I would start by taking prop off and making sure do not have fishing line wrapped around shaft.
