Trolling

I would like to know if a 20hp Honda 4 stroke can troll without any devises. I have a 14ft. alluim boat. Lure

devices???? such as a trolling plate or drift sock?<br /><br />You should be able to troll with your motor just fine.<br />If it is too fast, you can troll in reverse, which should slow the boat.

I used to troll with a 30 hp two stroke Johnson on a 16 ft boat. The four stroke Honda is a very smooth troller.
