Trouble downloading music

I'm having trouble downloading (legally) songs from a site I visit. The site uses Realplayer. When I stream the song, the entire song plays. When I downlaod the song, I'll only get about the first 30 seconds or so of the music to play.
This doesn't happen with all songs all the time, just some songs occasionally.

A friend mentioned something about memory on my CD or something like that.

Anybody have any suggestions?

Do you download the songs to your hard drive, then make the CD?

Then it has nothing to do with the CD. So once it's downloaded to you computer, not all of the song is there? Before you download it does the file show the length of the song? If you re-download it does it work?

Just a guess but I'll bet there is a fee of some kind to download the song. The 30 sec clip is just a teaser.

I will get about 153KP instead of 454 or so KP which is the entire song. I will delete the previous download and try again and sometimes it works that I get the entire song.
