trouble finding steering cable

Hey everyone,

I've done some research and am having no luck so I'm hoping someone might have an idea. I picked up a 91 Hourston Glasscraft, and it has a 70hp evinrude on the back. The steering cable had broken, so I pulled it out, and the info on the steering assembly was "quick silver, ride and guide , rack and pinion steering setup". The cable has no numbers at all, but I can not find a cable anywhere, or even info on the quick silver setups.

If anyone could help me that would be awesome.

quick silver is a mercury brand, the boat was probably built by a Brunswick company, bite the bullet and just replace the whole thing with a teleflex nofeedback rotary system. you'll be happy with the results, and easy to install.
