Removed outdrive to replace boots and other items. No problem removing, but can't get universal gear to index w/ gear coming out of flywheel. What's the trick? Have everything lined up but can't get male splines to match up w/ female splines. Have rotated ujoints to align splines, but won't go in or"index" as manual states. Both parts are touching and look parallel, but can't get started to complete install.
