I have a chaparral sunesta 250 with a cat hull that I recently purchased. I am having problems with putting this boat on the trailer from the water. First thing I am having problems with is when I put the trailer in the water far enough to float on the trailer, the trailer starts to float so with any current that becomes a problem. But when I float the boat on, the front roller is above the boat. If I pull the trailer out far enough to make the roller go below the boat, I start to skid on the bunk. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to lower the front roller for loading but when it goes in place it will be locked into position to support the boat like its supposed to.
