Troubleshooting Minn Kota Edge 45

Hi, I have a mnn kota edge 45 with foot pedal that is 3 years old. The other day it just stopped running at any speed or setting. I removed the armature and tested voltage at the brushes and was getting a steady 12 volts. So, i was convinced the armature was bad. Replaced the armature and brushes, same issue. Does anyone have a suggestion on where the issue could be? Please help. Thanks.

If you can apply power direct to the motor leads and it will run, but not run when connected to controller then its in the controller or leads leading to it. Might read power at the brushes but when put under load it drops off
