Hi i was wondering if anyone has any input or experience lifting a large 28' pontoon boat off a trailer? i need to completely repair the trailer and its pretty hard with the boat sittin on it. Its a very large boat n worried about creating pressure points when lifting it. Its gettin about that time in Florida to take it out and this is only the beginning of gettin it working good again..

my advice check with a local marina that has the fork lift type deal, and you might even be able to pay to store / rack your boat for a month and pull out from under and get the trailer work done....

unless you can make an overhead beam or something and chain hoist the rear and leave it suspended, its kinda more hassle to pull out the trailer and then get it back on at your home

if you have some way to support the rear, you can slide the front off a few feet at a time and support once off the trailer then just reverse the process when you put the trailer back underneath.
