Hey all, first post here. I am wanting to get back into boating, grew up with it and got away from it after my Dad passed.
I'm trying to remember the boat we had growing up, when I was way young. I think it was 15 or 17', closed bow run-about here in Oklahoma. It had a 90Hp Merc outboard, back to back seats, we used coolers with pads for the rear. The gas tanks sat up under the transom cover.
I would have swore it was a Crownline but their website history page shows that they started building boats in the early 90's. I know it had the word Crown and I believe the "C" in crown had three spikes like a trident / crown. Any help would be appreciated. I know it's doubtful to find one like it but I'd at least like to know what I was searching for.
EDIT:---------------------------------------------------------------
Just happened across a wooden ski boat that looks A LOT like our old one. I couln't see a Manufacturers Emblem on the sides but this is almost identical except the the depth of the transom area, ours was much shallower, maybe only 6". Also out boat was fiberglass, and not wood, but the seats, dash, guages, running lights and horns are all very similar if not the same.
