trying to start engine, problem with ignition

im not sure what wire going either to the coil or distributor is the ignition im trying to start my engine with it out of the boat and i just need it to get spark

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,.... My guess is, ya gotta power the purple wire on the coil....

It looks like the head is rotted out in that bottom picture,...
The bolt hole is leakin' saltwater...

yezzir this engine is going to be a seller i just want it to run, im gonna invest in a new one
