Hello again, I just bought a turbo prop off eBay and was wondering if my thrust washer off my raker prop would work for the turbo or do I need to order a special one for it. Thanks in advance. Chris
I have done the same thing the thrust washer won't fit the turbo that I got. I have not found out where or which one I should get. I thought about putting this one in the lathe and turn it down to fit but then I won't have one for the other two props that I have.
Mine seems to fit in there good between the side supports but I'm going to take it to a prop shop today and let them tell me what I need. I'll let you know what I find out.
I put my new Turbo 1 on a couple of weeks ago. The washer is completely different than the factory Merc one that came with my motor. I'd make sure it fits perfectly so the shaft and / or prop doesn't get damaged.
