TurboJet Fling bypassing oil injection???

I have just bought a 94' Four Winns FLing with a 90 turbojet inboard. The oil injection is electric, and is on the side of the engine in a canister, and it might serve as the fuel pump too. Does anyone know how to start using pre mix in it? I saw a post about unplugging it, and capping the line, but if it's the fuel pump, will it get gas? Will the oil alarm go crazy? Thanks so much!

Those motors are NOT IO's. They are outboard powerheads sitting on a jet pump.

Moving to Johnson Evinrude forum for outboad 2 storke oil injection help.

Do you know what wire is for the alarm? Will this effect the temp warning?

temp will still work. pump is pulse powered, not electric.

VRO conversion w/ pump still working

if the fuel side on your Pump is still working it is very simple. unplug the 2 line harness going to the oil tank, unplug the 3 or 4 wire harness, going to the Vro pump. cut and cap the oil line going into the motor. add oil to fuel tank, mix well, then remove fuel line at top carb, catching gas in a container, pump the fuel line bulb until you get premixed gas to the carb. you can tell as it will change color. put line back on carb, and go boating.

Thanks. There are two small lines going to the motor, out of the vro. should I cap them both? They are small, and the fuel line is larger going to a tee at the carbs. one of them maybe vaccum, it looked dry when I looked at it.

only disconnect the oil line coming into the pump, and block it.

Everything worked great. I did run out gas one time, it drinks gas. The kids loved tubing though.

Dear tashasdaddy ,is the vro the cylinder on the side of the motor? Also the 3 or 4 wires you speak of are they come off the top of this cylinder?
