turn runabout into bass fishing boat

anyone ever turn a runnabout into a bass boat? i was given a 89 glasstream. the more i look at the front of this boat im thinking of building a platform across the seating area. installing a pedestal and trolling motor and hey im mr bill dance. the reason im asking is for one i dont have the money for a bass boat and two the interior is trashed in the front. the previous owner let it set out in the rain. but it runs pretty good.
