Got this turn 6 by valmet outboard for ?45 because its sat in a garage for 30years,
It all turns over fine and good compression, only problem is...
There is no spark, I take the plug cover off and test the lead and get a good kick off the lead. but when i put the plug cap back on there is a very very weak spark that i can feel with my hand, but no spark on the plug, i checked the spark plug on my motorbike and there is no problem with the spark plug.
Ive cut the spark wire down by 5mm to get the new contact on it, ive tried a new NGK plug cap.
