Turning takes more effort after SS prop

Got my Stiletto SS prop last night and took it out on the lake - Went from a basic aluminum to this SS. All is well but the steering seems to take much more effort now. Is this just due to the SS prop being so much heavier?

I would be more inclined to think it is the more efficient design loading the motor more.
