Twin 150 Fichts won't rev past 2500

Twin 150 Evinrude Ficht.
Starboard starts and idles fair.
Good compression.
The port doesn't want to idle well at all unless the balls squeezed.
The check engine light comes on both motors and won't rev past 2500 rpm.
New hoses/squeeze balls and cleaned oil tanks new squeezies.
What would cause the "check engine light" to come on??

Did you re-prime oiling system when tanks were cleaned ?------And no , you can not run 50:1 premix in these motors.

Yes we primed the oil system.
New hoses, new squeezies and primed the system.

Gonna check pressures in the AM
But both motors throwing a check engine light?
Gonna try to get codes then too.

What should the pressure on the pump be?
Gonna get the factory manual, they(EBAY) have some for 1996/97
will they work for a 2000 150
Or where can I get the right one?
