You'll have to add a sender to the engine to drive the gauge. This engine is factory setup with a tapped, threaded hole in the head for a sender. The sender you need is very short, perhaps 3/4 inch long and bottoms out inside the head. You will need to check the compatibility of the sender with the gauge to make sure it reads properly. Connect the gauge to a power source, the single wire to the temp sender is the signal.
