i have twin 1999 90 hp ficht motors, i have verified the timing on both motors with software version 1.42b running in dos mode. motors seem to run pretty good (runing feels equal to eachother through all rpm ranges) but the physical flywheel timing is 10 dagrees different from eachother! the motors arent counter rotational if that makes any difference. the stbd motor runs at 8 dagrees btdc and the port motor runs at 18 dagrees btdc. those readings from my timing light were made at 690 rpm. is this ok? i checked the tdc on both motors so i know where my tdc point is, i made no mistake, 10 dagrees sounds like allot? any thoughts?
