Twin outboard configurations

I have a predator 5.1 (cathedral hull) with twin Yamaha 50 4 strokes.<br />Can anyone advise - point me to - info regarding the alignment of the engines. As purchased (second hand), the engines are aligned pointing outward say 10 degrees rather than parallel to each other..... is this correct ?<br /><br />Many thanks<br /><br />Terry

The optimum set up depends on the hull. In your case I would start with a slight toe-in of about 1/8". It sounds like you have toe-out now.<br /><br />Good luck!

Thank you - yes, the engines are turned out i.e. pointing away from the centre line of the hull rather than parallel. we will try adjusting the steering tie bar to bring them towards parallel.<br /><br />Terry
