1988 Bayliner 2556 w/5.7(350). I have installed the pertronix ignitor II and Ignitor II coil w/ the "diode fix". I am hooked to the resistor wire and not having problems at this time. But I see many posts on these boards that say it should be hooked to direct 12v. Any comments?
Next question. I have seen a couple of posts about eliminating the ESA system and wiring the interruptor switch to ground and the negative side of the coil. Anybody out there try this yet?
