Hey guys. I just ordered a new Minn Kota trolling motor for my small boat. I had a 30 pound thrust one that finally gave out on me, and now I bought a 50 pound thrust electric motor. My question is this:
The motor comes with the standard two blade prop on it. What advantage (or disadvantage) would it be if I were to buy a three blade prop for it? Would that increase or decrease the thrust on the motor? Would I go faster with a three blade prop as opposed to a two blade prop at the same speed setting? Thanks for your input on this!!
