I have been a casual boater for many years (landlubber so I have to trailer to get to a lake). I am looking at a 1994 20' Sea Ray that the owner admits need new stringers.
Assuming that all the hull support members up to the console need to be replaced along with the deck and transom, what is a "sophisticated wild guess" as to what this would cost during the off season?
Is there any "cost effective" material other than exterior grade plywood that can be used ?
