Two questions prop and plugs

I have a 25 Evinrude. The prop only clears the skeg by 1/8 inch. This is a approved prop by Evinrude, anything to be concerned about? I have 120 PSI compression on both cylinders, but on one the plug is wet and black the other is wet and clean, new plugs and motor runs good. Again should I be concerned?<br />Thanks,<br />Terry

I don't understand what you mean about the prop, mine only clears by 1/8 inch or so too! As far as the plugs, it sounds like one cylinder is running rich, but if it sat a long time that might be miss leading, run it, make sure its pumping water, even take it for a test drive then pull the plugs again.

The original prop cleared by over 1/2 inch and my other motor has similar clearence. Thanks for the replay it helps knowing it is not uncommon.
