Two Stroke Oil Reomendation

I have a 1995 Yachttwin 8HP 2 Stoke. I was wondering what oil most people use. I have been running some off brand and think it may be causing excessive smoke. My mixture is good, 8 oz oil to 3 gallons of gas.

I've been running whatever is on sale with no issues. For less smoke you might was to try synthetic.

Quicksilver Premium Plus seems to be good at not gagging you for the money. In my experience Yamalube 2m seems be be even better but the price of it is insane.

I use Pennzoil full synthetic TCW3 in all my outboards. Biodegradable and cleaner and less smoke.
