Two very small holes on lower unit

What are these holes that leak lower unit gear oil,and what do I plug them with? Sorry if this is a stupid question but I'm new to working on outboards. '68 Chrysler 55hp

Need WAY more info other than leaking holes.
Pics of the leak and serial# and model# helps too.

Serial: 3088
Two holes just above where the two halfs conect on lower unit.

They are horizontal to eachother.

Those are weep holes meant to be there. The leakage is probably unburned fuel/oil mix. Thats normal. Smell the stuff. You'll know its gear oil right away if it is.

Thanks. It's gear oil...however, I took the lower unit apart and it is trashed!! So going to look for a lower unit. Any good ideas as to where to find one a good price?
